This is our living motto.

We began our journey with our noble Friesians; Magellan, Onyx M., Anne Wiske T., and Bouke H. in 2004, all from our children's appetite for these creatures. What a fun wholesome family activity we all could enjoy. With much dedication and devotion, we built our 'Little Kentucky' in 2006, just for them(kids and horses, that is)! Oh, that was exciting, but bringing the horses home couldn't come fast enough. Four stalls of our ten stall barn were 'whipped' together, hay brought into the loft, water and feed buckets appropriately hung, and voila! Ready or not, the horses were coming home. But wait, the house wasn't finished. Well, that's okay. Like all true equestrians, you put your horses first and then figure out where your own pillow shall rest.
Today, we are still putting final finishing touches on our Friesian kingdom, an unimaginable thought by 'horse-less' standards of yesteryear! Today, however, we count our blessings each and every day for all of God's gifts, allowing us to share and preserve one of nature's greatest beauties, for all to enjoy.
